2017
- We Received a 3 year grant from the MS Society of Canada ($358,000, 2017-2020)
- Soheila Karimi received the 2017 Ed Kroeger Award for
Distinction in Mentorship. Soheila is honored to be nominated
by her trainees and receive this prestigious award.

- Arsalan Alizadeh had a blast in 2017 by receiving six major
awards notably the 2017 Drewry Award for Excellence of
Research in the Health Sciences, the Hillary Kaufman Lerner
Award in Multiple Sclerosis and the Award for Excellence in
Translational Research from Diagnostics Services in Manitoba.
-Arsalan was also the top Manitoban student who was invited
to attend the 2017 Gairdner Foundation Symposium and
Gala in Toronto.

recognition!
- Scott Dyck was named the 2017 most promising student by The Bioscience Association Manitoba. Congratulations Scott for this high achievement!
- Scott Dyck also received the 2017 Will-to-Win/Research Manitoba Spinal Cord Doctoral Scholarship in Spinal Cord Research
- Christopher Hart won a poster prize in the 2017 Manitoba Neuroscience Network Meeting
